Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite well-known. Sara Ramirez was raised by an American mother, and encountered a number of racial slurs that caused her to feel uncomfortable. It was during her ninth year that she started to feel more confident after receiving a rousing ovation at an audition. Not only did it boost her confidence but her dreams changed. The 22-year-old graduated with a degree from the Julliard School in New York. As she was turning 23, she started her journey on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, at 23 years old her first film debut was You've Got Mail. Her greatest break came in her role as The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway adaptation of Spamalot. She was awarded the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her role. Following that, in 2007, she was a cast member on the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. Apart from having a cult following as a singer, she also released her own solo album and an extended piece. She also works as an LGBT activist.
