Felicity Jones was born in the UK and is most well-known as the actress who played Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. The character she played was Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. In the following years, she was in various movies. Her acting made her famous through films like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. However it was her role as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' that won the actress the Oscar nomination for the first time. Jones in her role as Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic, which is based on his life, was praised both by critics and viewers. Inferno, a Tom Hanks thriller was her subsequent role. In 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles named Jones for the position of British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to cinema.
