Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress, is well-known for her performances as Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence and as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. She was also recognized for her TV debut as Eleni Andros cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. Her most notable movies comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly working on a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that wrote the film Immortals. She also films for a upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
