Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in America, is an actor. Sheedy made her debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. In the years since, she's appeared in WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Sheedy is an American actor and a writer. At the beginning of the 80s, she made her debut on film by appearing in the crime action film Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. She appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1985 which was a comedic drama following her initial fame. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club is regarded as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. Although the film's budget was just $1 million, its profits exceeded $50 million. Also, she began to appear on various television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. In April of 1980, the show started airing. It was aimed at teens. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other TV shows featured her in. The show Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. She is also on X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film where her character is a brief cameo. Sheedy, for her incredible performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
